Spain

Spain is a country littered with superb old buildings, from Roam aqueducts to Gothic cathedrals, and almost every second town has a medieval castle. Spain is also famous for flamenco music styles, bull fighting, Picasso, pilgrims walking the Camino to Santiago de Compostela and festivals like the Pamplona Bull Run and the Tomatino tomato fight. The capital city Madrid is home to the Royal Palace and Prado museum, housing works by European masters. Segovia has a medieval castle (the Alcázar) and an intact Roman aqueduct. Catalonia’s capital, Barcelona, is defined by Antoni Gaudí’s whimsical modernist landmarks like the Sagrada Família church. There are endless ytracts of wild and crinkled sierra to explore as well some spectacular coastlines.
