Trekking through the Borneo jungle in Kalimantan will lead you to encounter the real wildlife and diverse vegetation that sustain the ecological harmony for all creatures on it. DAY 1 PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI
Upon your arrival in Pangkalan Bun Airport, meet with our staff and guide, then direct transfer to Kumai. It will take about 20 minutes drive. Upon your arrival in Kumai direct transfer to the houseboat (kelotok). Lunch will provided onboard. Afterward cruise down the Kumai River for approximately 15 minutes to reach Sekonyer River, the main river in Tanjung Puting National Park. Cruising up the Sekonyer river you will see tropical vegetation around the river bank, Nipa Palm, Pandanus, and many kinds of tropical jungle trees that are growing up around the river. See some wildlife such as birds, Macaque, Proboscis Monkey and Orangutan. If the time still permits, you will visit Orangutan feeding in Tanjung Harapan at 15.00 PM. Then At 16.00 return back to the boat and continue boating up river to observe and learn more about Proboscis monkeys along the river banks. Proboscis monkeys are being endemic animals that can be seen only in Borneo. Dinner and Overnight in the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Houseboat

DAY 2 PASALAT CAMP – CAMP LEAKEY
After breakfast, proceed up the river to Pasalat Camp. Here you will be hiking up on the boardwalk for 800 metres and 200 metres you will walk on the ground. In this camp you will have a chance to plant endemic fruit trees for the orangutan and this is also the carbon offset program. This program supports the national park by replanting the trees around the ex-forest fire areas and to spread up the fruit trees for the animals in this park. When the tree grow up, the trees will do photosynthesis. From this process the tree will produce oxygen which is the payment to all the Carbon we produce in our whole life (payment of the carbon). Return back to the houseboat then cruise direct to Camp Leakey. Lunch will be provided on board. On arrival in Camp Leakey, you will visit Information Centre to see all the work of Dr. Birute Galdikas while she studies the orangutan here from 1971 until today. Enjoy your time until around 14.00when we continue trekking up into the forest to see orangutan feeding.  We will enjoy the time here till 16.00 then back to the kelotok and cruise down to Pondok Ambung. If the time permits before dinner we will trek  into the forest for 2 hours to see the nocturnal animals like Tarsiers, tarantulas, etc. then back to the houseboat. Dinner and overnight in Deluxe / Super Deluxe houseboat.

DAY 3 PONDOK TANGGUI – TANJUNG HARAPAN
After breakfast while boating down river, we reach Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation centre for the orangutan. Visit the Orangutan feeding 09.00 AM, enjoy your time while taking some pictures. Then at 10.00 AM return back to the houseboat and continue boating down direct to Tanjung Harapan village to see the Malayan settlement activities in the Afternoon. Lunch will be provided on board, then cross to Tanjung Harapan Camp to see the last orangutan feeding at 15.00 where you will stay for an hour or so. Back to the boat and cruise down directly to the Nipa Palm area to see thousands of fireflies. Dinner and overnight in Deluxe / Super Deluxe houseboat.

DAY 4 TANJUNG HARAPAN – NIPA PALM
After breakfast, enjoy your time until we are ready to explore more wildlife trekking up into the forest, you will trek from Tanjung Harapan to Sungai Buluh.  It will take about 3 hours, then on
to Sungai Buloh where you will explore more closely on the motor boat canoe, then back to the houseboat. Lunch will be provided on board. You have some free leisure time while you will be spotting groups of Proboscis Monkeys around the river bank in the afternoon. Afterward cruise down direct to the nipa palm area to see thousand fireflies. Dinner and overnight in the Deluxe / Super Deluxe houseboat.

DAY 5 PANGKALAN BUN
After breakfast cruise down to Kumai. Direct transfer to Pangkalan Bun Airport for your next destination.
