● Saparua - With its friendly population, pretty villages, plentiful historical relics, good beaches and fine coral reefs, it was also the most popular island for a quick escape from Ambon.
● Up in Saparua's NE corner, Nolloth is another village well worth visiting. It is dominated by a fine, massive colonial-era church with thick walls.
● Molana - small, hilly, uninhabited island off Saparua's south-western tip is known for its excellent dive-spots and has the finest white sand beach anywhere in the Lease Islands.

DAY 2 AMBON
Today is a long day. After breakfast we make an excursion to the Leihitu Peninsula. Early in the morning departure, we ride to the monument of Martha Christina Tiahahu located at the hill of
Karang Panjang with panorama of Ambon city, the woman fought during the colonial time against the Dutch. Continue the drive to the village Hitu and Hila. This last village is famous with its 3 historical buildings; old Immanuel Church (1780), this church was destroyed in the muslim-christian clashes in January 1999 but in 2009 the old church has been rebuilt. The old Mosque Wapaue (1414) is located in Kaitetu village, Maluku. This is the old mosque that was built in 1414. The architecture of the mosque is Malaka. According to the society story, this mosque had been built on the hill, but then removed to this region. Visit the Dutch Fort Amsterdam (1637) located in Hila, Ambon. The Amsterdam fortress was built by the Dutch in the early 17th century when the spice trade began to be implemented in Ambon. This fortress is located not far from the Old Church Hila. The fort was built after Vereenigde Oost Indische Compagnie (VOC) was founded in the Netherlands by Heeren Zeventien. An historian and observer of nature who works for the German nation is a soldier named George Everhard Rumphius Holland who lived in this castle in the period 1660 – 1670 and wrote a book about the flora and fauna of Ambon. Amsterdam fortress was renovated in 1993. Amsterdam is an old fortress that has been building for hundreds of years and became inseparable from the history of VOC control in Ambon. This fortress, located on the beach, is very quiet and beautiful. Lunch (in Warung) will be somewhere in a village on the way where we also visit Allang, Lilibooi, Hatu and Larike villages, famous for its sacred eels which are coaxed out of hiding by the locals. We visit the elementary school where you can interact with students and teach English for one hour. Return to hotel.
