Overview
Visit The Death Railway, a part of Thailand’s history that was created by hand of prisoners of World War II. Visit the one of the former capital cities of the Kingdom, Ayutthaya. Visit Prasat Hin Phimai, one of the most important Mahayana Buddhist temple in Thailand, dating back 1,000 years.

DAY 1
BANGKOK – KANCHANABURI
Depart from Bangkok and drive to the legendary Bridge over the River Kwai, which has become internationally known. Arrival and visit POW Memorial Cemetery and Thai-Burmese Railway Museum. Then continue to visit the famous River Kwai Bridge (built under Japanese direction, by Allied POWs during World War II. Afterwards, ride on a long-tailed boat to the romantic River Kwai Jungle Raft (simple accommodation), a hotel, floating on the river. In the evening, a show of Burmese dance show takes place. Thai Set Dinner will be served (food only) at River Kwai Jungle Raft. Note: Jungle Raft is a very simple accommodation, NO electricity. Please prepare an overnight bag, not recommend carrying big luggage on a boat to Jungle Raft. Alternate accommodation can be substituted.

DAY 2
KANCHANABURI – AYUTTHAYA
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you visit Lava-Caves along the river. Next stop is Prasat Muang Singh, a village in Khmer style. Afterwards, interurban drive from River Kwai to the ancient royal city Ayutthaya, which has been the Orient’s Metropolis for 400 years and was destroyed in 1767. But even the town’s ruins are majestic. Visit the historic ruins of this former capital of Thailand. Explore the remaining temples and royal ground of the Great Kingdom by bicycle such as Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch and Wat Mongkol Bophit.

DAY 3
AYUTTHAYA – NAKHON RATCHASIMA
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and drive to Saraburi, visit Phra Buddha Badh with its shrine of the holy footprint of Lord Buddha. Continue drive to the charming little town of Phimai northeast of Korat, known for the magnificent Khmer Sanctuary of Prasart Hin. Visit the Museum and Prasat Hin Phimai in the Historical Park. Drive back for Khao Yai, with a short stop at one of the biggest Banyan Trees in Thailand, The 350 Years Old Banyan Tree Park called “Sai Ngam”.

DAY 4
NAKHON RATCHASIMA – BANGKOK
Breakfast at the hotel. After visiting Dan Kwian, famous for its Isaan potteries and silk weaving – Pak Thong Chai, continue along the Khao Yai National Park and huge water reservoirs back to Bangkok, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Then transfer directly to Suvarnabhumi Airport for your departure flight.
