Arrival at Jakarta international airport. Meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2 JAKARTA – BANDUNG
Moving towards Bandung, on the way we visit Taman mini Indonesia Indah (beautiful “Indonesia in miniature” cultural park) an extensive park to get a glimpse of the diverseness of the Indonesian archipelago. It represents Indonesia and its outstanding characteristics, reflected most strikingly in the exact regional architecture of each province. Then head to Bogor with its famous botanical garden, and thousands of species of plant life from all over the world. Leaving Bogor, continue to Bandung passing along the beautiful scenery of tea plantations and scenic tropical beauty in the mountainous region.

DAY 3 BANDUNG
Todays journey starts with an early morning drive to Ciwidey, a picturesque region to the south of Bandung. Travel through strawberry fields to Patenggang a lake with its beautiful tranquil and serene atmosphere. The ambience becomes more dramatic when mist rolls down from the hills and cover the lake, creating magical scenery. Then continue to Kawah Putih, a crater containing snow white shallow water from a spring. On the way back to the city, you pass through rolling hills and tea plantations. In the afternoon we see the famous uniquely traditional wooden doll puppet theatre known as ‘wayang golek’ and the famous ‘angklung’ bamboo orchestra, as well as the classical Sundanese gamelan and dances.

DAY 4 BANDUNG – YOGYAKARTA
Start the day discovering the old city of Bandung, exploring the area of Braga and “Asia Africa”. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport, depart to Yogyakarta by flight, arrive at Yogyakarta and direct transfer to your hotel.

DAY 5 YOGYAKARTA
Enjoy the warm hospitality of the city, start the tour by becak (Indonesian rickshaw pulled by bicycle) along the old city and visiting its valuable and special places such as Kraton (sultan’s palace) and the water castle. See the beauty of the famous traditional batik workshop, one of the most famous handicraft in Indonesia. Enjoy a short course of batik designing guided by a local craftsman where you can create your own batik. Our afternoon excursion visits the Borobudur Buddhist temple, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world and heritage of humanity. Enjoy the spectacular scenery when the sun disappears over the horizon with the natural landscape blending the stupa of Borobudur.
(B ) Overnight in YOGYAKARTA
DAY 6 YOGYAKARTA – SOLO
After breakfast we leave for Solo (Surakarta City). On the way visit Prambanan, Java’s most interesting Hindu shrine of the 9th century, regarded as one of the most beautiful Hindu temples in the world and is known as the Rara Jonggrang temple or the temple of the ‘slender virgin’. This temple represents the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with a bas-relief depicting the famous Ramayana story. Then continuing to Solo where we visit the Royal Mangkunegaran palace, a palace which blends European elegance with Javanese architectural style and with its fascinating display of gold-plated dance ornaments, jewellery and wooden mask and Triwindu flea market.

DAY 7 SOLO – MOJOKERTO (BY TRAIN) – BROMO
Leaving solo by train to Mojokerto. Arriving there, continue the journey by car along the east side through java’s heartland, passing endless teak forest and lush countryside until Mount Bromo.

DAY 8 BROMO – JEMBER
At 3.00 am depart for Mount Penanjakan on the rim of Tengger caldera by jeep to view one of the most spectacular sunrises. Enjoy the summit of it and admire the magnificent panorama over its caldera from the 2,700 m viewpoint. Then, crossing the sea of black sand and horseback riding will lead to the peak of Mount Bromo. After viewing this beautiful vista, back to the hotel. We then travel the scenic route with breathtaking views over mountains, and through the delightful villages until Jember.

DAY 9 JEMBER – IJEN
This morning visit the Tanjung traditional market where local people buy and sell their products. Then continue to go to Kalibaru, the land producing tropical spices. We take an hour walk to explore a plantation tour of coffee, cocoa, cloves, vanilla, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon & chili. You also see the traditional way of producing palm sugar/brown sugar. In the afternoon continue your journey to Banyuwangi.

DAY 10 IJEN – KETAPANG
Depart early to the awesome beauty of java’s wonder volcano, Mt Ijen, known for its electric-blue flames which come from burning sulphur at night. Travel through rural villages, coffee and clove plantations into one of Java’s most amazing rainforests. Humidity, wildlife, giant ferns and big trees cover the slope of the mountain. From the rangers post, walk up to the Ijen Plateau through the hilly landscape to the crater edge. The stunning view is unveiled at 2388 m altitude. A most breathtaking morning view and during clear weather, you may see the great sulphur lake. After enjoying the lake and the activities of local sulphur mining, back down to the ranger’s post then drive back to the hotel. In the afternoon, transfer to the port of Ketapang, board the ferry for the short journey to Gilimanuk by crossing the Bali Strait .
